Digital Impression

Use your intraoral scanner to capture a detailed scan of your patient’s teeth. Ensure the scan includes all the necessary data for the restoration.

STL File

Once the scan is complete, export the file in the STL format, which is compatible with most CAD/CAM systems and used for dental restorations.

Upload to MV Dental Lab

Log into the MV Dental Lab online portal and upload the STL file, along with any supporting documents, including patient photos, treatment plans, and specific instructions for the restoration.

Confirm and Collaborate

After submission, MV Dental Lab will review the case and collaborate with you to finalise the design and specifications, ensuring it meets your patient’s needs before sending you your product.

Digital Impressions

We accept digital impressions from a variety of popular intraoral scanners, ensuring seamless integration with your practice's technology. We accept files from leading scanner brands, including 3Shape TRIOS, iTero, CEREC and Medit. Ensure the digital impression is saved in the STL format and Upload the STL files directly through our secure online portal.

Manual Impressions

We accept manual impressions for those who prefer traditional methods. Use standard impression materials like alginate or polyvinyl siloxane to capture a detailed impression of your patient’s teeth. Once the impression is taken, ensure it is properly disinfected, packed, and sealed to avoid any distortion or damage during transit. Along with the impression, include a completed lab order form detailing the patient’s treatment plan, specific instructions, and any additional photos or bite registrations necessary for the restoration and send the impressions to our lab.
